Thymed entered into a strategic partnership with Beckman Coulter in 2003. This provides us with access to key state-of-the-art techniques and assay systems as well as access to the very latest scientific equipment and support. Sharing in Thymed’s mission, Beckman Coulter strives to bring technological enhancement to Immune Monitoring and provides Thymed with early access to new technologies.
- Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germany)
Thymed was spun-out of the University of Mainz in 2003. Thymed has a formal agreement in place covering cooperation and relevant IP.
- Karolinska University (Sweden)
Thymed’s CSO, Professor Markus J. Maeurer, became Professor of Clinical Immunology at the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control and the Karolinska Institute, Solna, Sweden in Spring 2005.

Based in the same complex as Thymed, mfD provides in vivo preclinical and toxicology services to the pharmaceutical industry. Thymed has full and preferential access to these services and provides certain ex vivo preclinical immune system testing services to mfD. mfD is GLP certified.
